I spent the afternoon getting lost in God (or as some call it, Harry P. Leu Gardens). I immediately made a one-sided friendship with the garden cat and then set out to explore all 56 acres of the oasis. At one point it rained for about 20 minutes and I've never been so joyed with getting stuck in it all. There was so much tree cover that I just stayed and listened and took pictures. When the sun came out again, all of the birds sang and the air was fresh. I wandered quietly and alone, and enjoyed my freedom to take as many photos of the same flower as I wanted. It was a great day.
