San Francisco was a wonderful end cap to my Southwest road trip. It was chilly by Florida's standards and overcast most of the time. I found it an interesting challenge to shoot with a 50mm equivalent to capture the tight architecture. I still have an unfinished roll waiting to be developed because I had to catch my flight! When the sun finally came out, the city brightened up in a beautiful way.
This was my first time traveling with film. I also brought along my Fuji X100F for snapshots and personal photos. In the future I can see myself traveling with only film, but in the meantime it was nice to have a backup for my dad/daughter journey. I am so excited about my hummingbird photo. It was a risk that paid off and I knew it as soon as I clicked the shutter! Overall, I am quite happy with how all of my trip photos turned out.
